| Despite earlier
concerns over safety, this pond has now matured and is one of the
educational attractions used by local schools, Derby wildlife
enthusiasts and is generally enjoyed by all.
One interesting aspect is that a family of ducks has set up home here! The pond does unfortunately attract the attention of the worst of the local community and is constantly having to be cleared of bottles, lager cans and waste paper and plastic bags. |
